LignoBioLife

Después de un duro invierno, llega la primavera, los árboles comienzan a florecer y los cultivos empiezan a crecer, por lo que hay que preparar todo para esta nueva temporada. Los agricultores que participan en el proyecto LignoBioLife ya han recibido el biocarbón y el vinagre de madera para utilizar en sus cultivos. El día 23 de febrero, el director del proyecto LignoBioLife y técnicos de la Cátedra de Medio Ambiente de FGUA se trasladaron a diferentes pueblos de Guadalajara para reunirse con los propietarios que participan en el proyecto y, todos juntos, decidir las parcelas, tipo de cultivos y cronograma para empezar a esparcir y usar los bioproductos en el campo. After a hard winter, spring is coming, trees are starting to blossom and crops beginning to grow, so everything has to be prepared for this new season. The farmers participating in the LignoBioLife project have already received the biochar and wood vinegar to be used in their crops. On the 23rd of February, the director of the LignoBioLife project and technicians from the Department of Environment of FGUA moved to different villages of Guadalajara to meet landowners participating in the project and, all together, decide the fields, kind of crops and schedule for spreading and using the bioproducts in the field. Besides, signs to indicate the participation of the landowners in the LignoBioLife project were set in the fields where the products are going to be used. Farmers were pleased to have the biochar and wood vinegar in their facilities and they showed great interest and expectations in these bioproducts, which during the next weeks will start to be used in the fields.

El pasado 17 de febrero de 2021 tuvo lugar una reunión de seguimiento del proyecto LignoBioLife, con la participación de todos los socios participantes, en la cual se presentaron los avances y resultados obtenidos hasta la fecha y la planificación de las actuaciones que se llevarán a cabo este año. La reunión estuvo coordinada por Juan Luis Águirre, director de la Cátedra de Medio Ambiente de FGUA y del proyecto, dando paso a la intervención de los diferentes socios. El Instituto Nacional de Investigación y Tecnología Agraria (INIA) expuso los resultados de la aplicación de biochar en cultivos de cereal. La empresa Eurovia mostró los resultados de experimentación con biobetún, un producto muy prometedor para su uso en obras e infraestructuras de comunicación. La empresa Neoliquid presentó los resultados de la generación de los distintos bioproductos en sus plantas de producción y destacó que se habían conseguido los objetivos previstos. On the 17th of February of 2021, a meeting concerning the LignoBioLife project took place, with the participation of all partners, in which the progress and results obtained until now and the actions planned for this year were presented. The meeting was coordinated by Juan Luis Águirre, director of both the Department of Environment of FGUA and the project, giving way to the participation of the different partners.
